Five

Phoenix turned 5 yesterday
Yes it's birthday season around here
Pop over and wish Lisa a happy birthday cos' it's her birthday today (she needs a little prod back into blogging)
and our good friend Jana who doesn't blog but lurks around blogland every now and then (hello Jana, I hope you're feeling better, bummer getting sick on your birthday, we missed you today!)

So PJ came into our room at 4am with a "how long until I can open my presents?"
He got a cold response which made him cry
Bad mother award goes to me, making my son cry on his birthday before even wishing him a happy birthday :(
Anyway.....he forgave me at 6am as he opened his presents

He wanted a cake just like his brother had last week, only orange
So I made an orange sponge cake
He loved the look of it
Not too keen on the taste though :)

No parties this year but the boys have loved their family afternoon teas and dinners of their choice
Nuggets and chips for PJ, now that was easy

We all love pictures of cake don't we!

No cake for little brother yet though
He will have his first taste in just under 3 months when he turns one
